At GradeCentric (GradeCentric.com), we hold the privacy of our visitors in high regard. Our Privacy Policy is designed to provide clarity on the information our website may collect and use, and to help our visitors make informed decisions.

Your Calculator Data

Everything you type into our calculators (grades, scores, credits, targets, course names) is processed entirely in your browser. It is never transmitted to our servers, never stored by us, and never shared with anyone. When you close or refresh the page, it is gone. We could not look at your grades even if we wanted to.

Children’s Privacy

Our tools are built for students of all ages, including children under 13, and they are designed to be safe for that audience: no accounts, no sign-ups, and nothing personal is ever requested from anyone, child or adult. Beyond the standard server logs and aggregate analytics described below, the site collects nothing. The analytics identifier described below is used solely to measure aggregate site usage (the support-for-internal-operations use permitted by COPPA) and never for behavioral advertising or profiling of any visitor, child or adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example, by email), contact us at info@gradecentric.com and we will delete it.

Cookies

GradeCentric uses a small number of first-party cookies set by Google Analytics (their names begin with “_ga”). They hold a random identifier that lets us count new versus returning visitors, and they are not used for advertising. Visitors in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, and visitors whose browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, never receive these cookies, because analytics does not load for them at all (see Analytics below).

GradeCentric is currently ad-free. If we ever introduce third-party advertising, those advertisers may use cookies for measurement and ad targeting, and we will update this policy before doing so.

You can disable or manage cookies through your browser options. For more information about cookie opt-outs and management, refer to your browser’s documentation.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, which sites refer traffic, approximate location (country, state, and city, estimated from the IP address, which Google states it does not log or store), device type, and browser. We use this information solely to operate and improve the site, and it is automatically deleted after at most 14 months.

Our Google Analytics setup is measurement-only: Google Signals, advertising personalization, and remarketing features are disabled, and no advertising products are linked to it. Analytics never loads for visitors in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, or for any visitor whose browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal. You can read how Google handles data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can block analytics entirely with Google’s browser opt-out add-on or any content blocker; every tool on this site works fully either way.

Log Files

Like nearly every website, GradeCentric’s hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs. These can include IP address, browser type, date and time stamps, and the pages requested.

This information is used for security and aggregate statistics, not to identify individual visitors.

If You Email Us

When you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to respond to you. We do not add you to mailing lists, and we do not share your email with anyone.

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; every tool on this site works fully without cookies. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK, or California), you may have legal rights regarding personal information, such as access, correction, or deletion. Because we collect almost no personal information, exercising these rights is simple: email us at info@gradecentric.com and we will help.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, analytics never loads and no analytics cookies are set. The site does not respond to the older “Do Not Track” signal, which browsers are phasing out; GPC is its successor and gives you the same result here. Either way, nothing on this site tracks individuals across websites.

If a change materially affects how information is handled, it takes effect only after it is posted here, so checking this page is the reliable way to stay informed.
